NL27 - TV Youth - Dawn
A collection of five superbly crafted tracks progressing from complex electronic tunes through electro and into minimal melodic electronica.
We were experiencing a few technical problems (with our domain / DNS records) meaning that temporarily, www.net-lab.co.uk wasn’t resolving to our new server space held by InspireBox.
Thankfully, this is now resolved and we’re back to our usual operation!
We are about to compile a new noise and ambient release for Net-Lab and we’re looking for contributions from you!
Conceptually, the focus of the release is on original sampled sound (i.e. record something with a mic, don’t take it off another record) mixed with synthetic and acoustic instrumentation. We are particularly looking for tunes exploring bass sound, conversation, and mechanical noise. Song structure does not necessarily matter so much as the quality of sound production and sampling.
We have 3-4 tracks for this already, so ideally we are looking for another 6 or so!

Sorry to those who have emailed recently about the Whitechapel party. Sadly, the 20 places went in the first couple of hours I put that message up.
Watch out for other stuff going on though, we have a lot more lined up!
Net-Lab is running a small private show / house party at an unannounced location in Whitechapel (London) on Thursday 31st May. Featuring an extensive Net-Lab showcase, a certain fantastic dubstep DJ, and a certain East London grime crew.
