NL20 - Synthamesk - Raw Deal [Schwarzenegger Series] (EP)

Influenced by the 1986 John Irvin film, “Raw Deal”, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mark Kaminsky. Synthamesk has combined elements of sampled sound with his trademark massively complex and intricate beat processing, and synthesized sounds, to create this 18 minute 24 second EP. Climaxing in the third track, “Knock ‘em Dead”, as usual Synthamesk’s skill in creating melody and assembling song structure brings this release head and shoulders above your average Breakcore release. Ending on track 5, “Kaminski’s”, extends even this element, with an almost jazz-rock style feel, little interacting melodic paths and beats.
